Ex-student gives inspirational talk to Year 8

We were delighted to welcome former student Tia Mereweather-Thompson to the school to talk about her path to becoming a Clifford Chance Future Trainee. After a law degree at Birmingham University, Tia completed her Legal Practice Course and is joining the magic circle law firm later this month.

Mrs Burnaby said: "This was an inspiring talk from one of our many success stories here at St Claudine’s.  It is wonderful that Tia was able to give such helpful advice to our Year 8’s today to help support them in making their GCSE option choices."

Saskia and Aliyah in year 8 said: "We learned that our GCSEs don’t need to be directly relevant to what we think we want to do in the future; instead make choices depending on what subjects we know we’ll enjoy most. We also learned to be careful with our student loans and spend the money wisely."
