Curriculum Overview
Our Whole School Curriculum Intent
As a Catholic school, all that we do to educate our students is framed within our unique charism of the Religious of Jesus and Mary and the values of our Mother Foundress, St Claudine Thévenet: education, service, forgiveness, love, simplicity and family spirit. We are committed to the education and formation of the whole child and seek to provide a curriculum that is equally academic, creative, cultural and spiritual. Each child is a unique person with individual gifts and talents, interests and aspirations and we are ambitious for them and for their future paths. Our curriculum is central to ensuring the success of our mission and our ministry in Catholic education; to equip and enable all our students to achieve their full potential, to develop their knowledge and skills and to grow as a whole person through their time at the school. It is through our curriculum that we aim to live out our mission of Excellence and Equality in all-girls’ Education.
Our curriculum recognises the vast diversity of our school population and, for this reason, celebrates languages and recognises, through the academic offer, the ambition and aspiration of the majority of our students to secure places at the top universities as well as the opportunities to develop personal and social confidence, creativity and to prepare for life as young adults in the contemporary age.
